Rhebs Is Rambling

This is my way of letting my family and friends all over the world catch the many goings-on of our ‘stateside’ life rather than writing them one by one.  I sure don’t write impeccably as you can see English is my second language so my rattling through words are at times long-winded and incoherent.  I, myself sometimes get horrified by my own grammar and spelling mistakes but then again that’s just goes to show the imperfect real Me.

My First Traffic Citation

It was just a month ago when I responded to Bill’s remark about his wife finally getting a driver’s license.

His words:  “Today, finally my wife has her driver’s license in hand. So if you live on the Westside   I will post times and dates she will be behind the wheel so you can stay home and avoid the area”.

My retort:  That’s exactly the words of my DH to his mom and brother right after I got my driver’s license (wow that was 6 years ago! …never had any violation or citation ticket yet). Thank GOD! You ‘kano’ husbands don’t really trust your little pinay wives ha? That’s BAD! For all you know we are very responsible people and do care about other drivers on the road too.  Trust me on this one, Kuya Bill".

Yesterday, that bragging retort of mine was proven wrong!  It happened in just a split second. I was on the way to work going 40 miles per hour instead of the posted speed limit of 45 because it had been raining since early morning so the road was still wet and slippery.  It was around 10:55 in morning, about a mile to work and I was very close to the traffic light when all of the sudden the green light turned yellow and the car in front of me stopped unexpectedly. I tried to slam my break as hard as I can but to no avail. It was too late already. I guess I was following too close to the car in front of me and she was going slow probably 20-30 miles per hour.  BUM!!! Holy crap!  The old lady driver got out of her car looking hurt so bad holding her neck.  As soon as I open my door to get down and help the old lady, I saw the cop’s car light flashing in the next lane at my right side. I AM BUSTED!, I thought. What a timing! The cop was actually off duty as she was on her plain shorts and t-shirt.

I ran down and asked the lady, “Are you ok, Ma’am?  I am so sorry.  I didn’t expect you would stop right there and then when the green light turned yellow”.

She stroked back by saying, “you are supposed to stop when the traffic light turns yellow”.  I was like, back in my mind, “Lady, where's your common sense?  Yellow light is for you to yield and come to a complete stop when it turns red however when you are very close to the traffic light, you shouldn’t stop!” Anyhow, I decided not to argue with her anymore so as not to make matters worst.  After all, I was at fault regardless (by law) because I hit her from behind.

The cop instructed us to pull over and asked me to tell her what happened. I told her, “I was going 40 miles per hour and was too close to the traffic light when the green light turned yellow, the car in front of me slammed her break. I did slam my break too as hard as I can but I guess it was too late already and it hit her".   She then asked for my driver’s license, insurance card and registration card.

I called my DH, MIL and my boss at work to let them know what happened.  MIL came to a rescue first followed by DH.  The cop handed me a citation ticket with a charge of “following too close”. The fine was a whopping $115.00!!! She then told me I have 3 options to choose from.

1.      Pay the penalty in the full amount of $115.00 plus 3 points added to my driver’s license traffic violations record.

2.      Elect a court hearing by contacting the Clerk of Court. Basically, I can contest and will be able to plead not guilty for the case before a judge and cop officer.  If the judge rules in my favor, the bail I posted will be refunded otherwise the court may impose a penalty not to exceed $500 or require completion of a Driver Improvement course or both plus 3 points will be added to my driver’s license traffic violations record.

3.      Elect to attend and complete a Driver Improvement course approved by state of Florida for 4 hours.  If I do this, I get 18% discount off my traffic ticket which means I only pay $95 but I still have to pay the Driver’s Improvement course fee of $27.00  NO points added to my  driver’s license traffic violations record plus my car insurance rates won’t go up.

I opted to take number 3.

The old lady was actually polite and calm.   She behaved like a very educated and well-mannered one. She’s driving a 4 door Toyota Camry 2004 and when she left she waved goodbye and uttered “don’t worry”.

Nonetheless, the damage in both cars weren’t too bad but was estimated to cost $1,000 for each one of us to get it fix.

Just to give you an idea about the fines on Civil Traffic Infractions here in Florida

                     Moving Violation                    $115.50

                     Exceeding posted speed

                                             6 -   9 mph     $  80.50
                                           10 - 14 mph     $155.50
                                           15 - 19 mph     $180.50
                                           20 - 29 mph     $205.50
                                           30+      mph     $305.50

Exceeding posted speed in school or construction zone

                                             6 -   9 mph     $105.50
                                           10 - 14 mph     $255.50
                                           15 - 19 mph     $305.50
                                           20 - 29 mph     $355.50
                                           30+      mph     $555.50

Well, that first car accident taught me a big lesson to drive more carefully and MUST maintain the “3 seconds rule: drive one car apart for every 10 miles behind the car in front of you”

On the lighter note, I finished uploading the photos from the baby shower party I attended and hosted last few weeks.

Last June 5, 2005, I hosted a baby shower party for Lynette.  I only invited same old close friends around. Man, I was being traumatized by having 4 kids around (all boys aged 4-2) who ran around the house screaming, tore off my blinds, pulled down my curtains, finger prints all over my new big screen TV, climbing and jumping up and down in the center table, took some cleaning stuff out from my kitchen cabinet, JESUS CHRIST!!!  I can only wish one thing "please take your kids home na mga Kumare. I have had enough of them!" but I was being polite. LOL

Also, about two months ago, I attended the baby shower party for Juliet hosted by Ate Susan in Middleburg, Florida. That was fun and I got to meet new faces of Pinays around.

Escapade in Disneyworld

Please cut me some slack here, Cotabatenians! I didn’t finish uploading the photos of your much-loved Brother Director’s escapade in Disneyworld as promised last weekend because I have had a busy two weekends in a row.

Last weekend before this past weekend, I throw a baby shower party for Lynette, one of my Pinay neighbors here in our community. I’ll elaborate more on this one later and show some photos as well.

Then last weekend, I was itching in anguish! The story behind this was, Friday afternoon; I went to see the doctor for a persistent heartburn so the doctor temporarily put me on Prevacid until my gastro-intestinal lab appointment on Thursday. However, an hour after I took the medicine, I started scratching all over my body and developed a hives. It turned out that I have allergic reactions to the medicine. DH went out to the drugstore to get some itching cream to help relieve the itch. I called Marie to ask her about the meds she took when she had an allergy and she told me to try washing it with vinegar. Huh?!? Vinegar? That stunk but I was desperate enough to put anything to stop the itch so I called DH on his cell phone to get me some vinegar as well. He came back with a large bottle of white vinegar, cortizone and benadryl cream. He then bathed me with vinegar. Holy Crap!!! The vinegar gave me that much burning sensation like hell because I already have cuts in my skin from too much scratching. It did help the itch a little bit though then later at night after I took a another shower ; DH applied the cream all over my body before we went to bed. I didn’t sleep well at all that night. What a nightmare!

Anyhow, today I managed to get a chance to sit in the computer. So here’s the story of Bro. Caesar, Edith and little Norma’s visit to Florida.

May 11, 2005, Wednesday at 6:30 AM Edith and Norma flew from Sacramento, California to Jacksonville, Florida for a 5-day vacation. DH and I went to fetch them at the airport around 5:00PM. Norma is still as wired as if she never left home. Edith said Norma enjoyed the trip very much and she even kept the flight attendants and few passengers sited next to them entertained. As I was telling Edith, her daughter makes a great artiste and good travel buddy!

We got home an hour later and as Edith acquainted her with the words, “Norm, that’s Tita Rhebs and Uncle Tony’s home”. She beamed with an astounding respond, “Let go see it Mommy!” And as soon she entered the door; her eyes wondered around. She ran and explored every corner of the house and opened every room she can get her hands to. She instantly feel at home although later at night, she whispered to her mom, “Let’s go home now Mommy!” hahahaha

She is such pretty smart 3 year old kid and very well behaved too. It amazes me sometimes when she talks like a 10 year old kid. We thought Edith did an excellent job in raising her little girl. Kudos to you Mrs. Editha Fuller!!! Duane must really be proud of you!

On the other hand, my DH criticized me few times for spoiling Norma in a wrong way. I wondered if 'llI ever be a good mom to our own kid if God grant us that privilege to have one someday.

I had to work Thursday until 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon so I called Lynette to come over and take Yamyam with her to meet Edith and Norma at home.

That's Norma singing karaoke with Yamyam. Isn't she an actress/singer in the making?;-)

Friday, I managed to take a time off at work. We left home headed to Orlando at noon just in time to fetch Brother Caesar in Orlando airport at 3:00PM. However we got stuck in a traffic accident and didn’t get to the airport until 5:45PM. “Patience is a virtue”, Bro. Caesar texts Edith back as soon as he received the message from Edith informing him of the situation we were in.

Anyway, we got to the hotel and checked in around 6:30PM. Took some rest then at around 7:00PM, DH drove us to out to Florida Mall. The four of us, Edith, Norma, Brother Caesar and I did some shopping while DH sat down outside the mall to read his book. Then, after we bought a few stuff we headed out to find a restaurant. I told DH we need to find either a Chinese or Filipino restaurant because Brother Caesar missed eating those pinoy delicacies as he’d been in Rome for three month eating nothing but all sorts of pasta. He misses rice with sinigang, adobo, pinakbet, bangus and etc. Alas! We drove around and found Fiesta Sa Nayon Resto! Without any ado, we went in and ordered rice, sinigang na bangus, chopsuey vegetables, lechon kawali, chicken abodo, lumi, and pinakbet. Ooh boy we were (except DH) stuffed to the max. Edith insisted to pay the bill even with DH sober warning to flip her out. LOL

We headed back to the hotel after dinner around 10:20 at night. DH and I crashed out in our room while Edith, Norma and Brother Caesar went out to buy milk for Norma however they stumbled in one of the factory outlets in the neighboring area. I think they came back to the hotel almost midnight already.

Saturday morning, Norma woke up very early with all the excitement to go to Disneyworld. I can’t believe as little as she is, she has more stamina like a teenager. She doesn’t seem to get tired no matter how late she goes to bed at night and how much rampage she did for the day.

Although our tickets are one day park-hopper, which means we are free to hop from one theme park to another as much as we can but we didn't have enough time to do all the 4 theme parks of  Disneyworld. We had to drive back to Jacksonville that night in order for them to get some sleep/rest before they catch their flight back to California early dawn of Sunday. So the only theme parks we’ve managed to explore were Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

The little Norma delights to see the characters she loved on stage!
Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy.
Well not only Norma, as you can see the “kids” in us also were enthusiastic
to explore the things we never get to experience when they were kids.

I know Brother Caesar had a blast in the Mission Space ride. This is the most thrilling attraction ever created by Disney — Mission: SPACE! This ultimate interactive thrill-packed adventure is as close as you can get to blasting off into space without leaving Earth. It's out of the world experience for someone who has never been to it before. It feels so real! I have done it thrice already but it still scared the hell out of me. LOL

That's about it. <Click here to view more photos>

DH's new mistress!

By the time DH turned 40, there's no doubt he was blazing a trail through midlife crisis. Mid-lifers sometimes try to flee this ordeal through other things such as chasing after a younger sexy babe or hide it behind a bottle of alcohol while DH midlife crisis begun with a mild twinge of just getting a low maintenance mistress.

He has a decent one twenty or so years ago while in the Army but he had to get rid of her when he was stationed overseas. From that time on, he didn’t think about her again until a little over 2 years ago when he turned 40! At first, he didn’t care much about the type of mistress he is going to get as long as she is comfortable enough to take a trip with him to the mountains. He finally found a second-rate one and got it on a whim. It was a good one to begin with and he enjoyed being with her however he didn’t anticipate he would outgrow her in just a couple of months.

In the early days, he wasn’t especially crazy about getting a high maintenance mistress which usually costs around $20,000 to $25,000. However, one thing change his mind when he got stung by this pretty sleek and sexy one during the Biketoberfest. Man, he couldn't resist but fell in love with her head over heels. After that incident, she became his dream, his biggest midlife crisis ever. He couldn’t get her off his mind and his urge to own her grows stronger with each passing day.

The ever loving and understanding wife had to give in just to make her only man happy. Heck, I’ll do whatever it takes just to make my Darling Tony the happiest man alive. That’s how much I truly love and care about his happiness.

Two weeks ago, after almost two years of struggle, at long last!!! DH midlife crisis was over with. He now owns the mistress he'd longed for. Ooh I can’t begin to tell you how ecstatic he was to finally own one without getting ourselves in a single debt. Yes, it's expensive and I still think it's silly to spend that much for his mistress but nothing can beat the ecstasy my Darling Husband has been experiencing at that very moment. The grin in his face was priceless! I can’t trade that in for anything else in this world. Nothing else is more important to me than his own true happiness even if it means having to divide his time and attention to his mistress.  I am not selfish but I am jealous of course because now he is spending half of his time with her but at least I am not neglected or ignored yet.. not just yet at least. He still makes me feel the most sexy (even if I feel siksik sa taba hehehe) and most desirable woman on earth.  He’s been endlessly telling me that he has never been any happier before I came into his life <ha!> BOLA!!! He says he can’t thank me enough for my undying love for him and for giving in to his fixation. He says the doctor he works with at the hospital was so envious of him for having a mistress of his dream. The doctor wants one too... that bad!  Well, it’s not that the doctor can’t afford to get one. Heck, he can even afford to have more than one if it all concerns about the money. It’s the wifey who strongly opposes to the doctor’s pitch. His choice is either to divorce the wife to have a mistress or no mistress at all.  Poor thing!

Anyhow, are you ready to see my DH’s new mistress? Here you go! His new mistress and as well as his  old mistress. He somehow expressed to keep his two mistresses for a while but I think it would be so selfish of him to maintain two mistresses at the same time so I Incessantly
beseech him to get rid of the old one which he, finally let her go.

Now let me tell you about the exhilarating adventure that we are planning to do in the near future:

          - How about a joy ride to Texas or Memphis
to savor the taste of the best barbeque in the States?
            Isn’t this exciting?

          - The Biketoberfest this year is going to be a blast because then
we won’t be feeling envious with 80% of the bikers who owned a Harley.

 Fil-Am bikers, let’s joy ride!!!

P.S.
DH is going public with his riding adventures with this new mistress. Stay tuned with the launching of "Tony's Riding Chronicles" right here in our own homepage.

Bits and Pieces

Let’s put it this way. I am more of a slack friend than a lazybones. I know that but you see I lead an active busy life besides there's not much really to tell except a countless of trivial moments in our day to day life. And for some reason, these past three weeks I can’t seem to find a good time to sit down and do the regular updates for my family and friends out there. Although, I have had a long weekend—3 days off in a row last weekend but all I did really was tidy our home, chilled out in our comfy couch mostly watched movies, pigged out and doze off. Man, how will I ever get rid of this flab in my waistline and tummy?

Cotabatenians, please bear with me, ok? I know I owe you something. I have not done sorting out and organizing those gazillions of photos during the visit of Bro. Caesar, Edith and Norma but I promise to get my hands to them before the end of next week. okidoki?
Nonetheless, here are the trivial bits and pieces of our daily life here in the sunshine state.

First off, let me talk about Home Security System.

P1010056Our home monitoring security system has been in place for about a month now. Every door, window and corner of our home is secured with something that electronically sets off this alarm once triggered by either unauthorized entry, breaking of glass, moving object and it even detects smokes inside the building. If the alarm goes on for a certain period of time, it automatically sends off a signal to the police--Sheriff’s Office that guaranteed an immediate response within 45 seconds or less.   Haay, at least this security system provides us with the safety, security and peace of mind we need. I never feel any safer anymore after this burglary incident that occurred in our condo last year. I mean at this day and age, it doesn’t matter anymore whether you belong to the affluent community or to a meager income group. The burglars strike anytime just like that no matter where you live. Come to think of it. Who would ever think that these thieves would break in to our condo? I mean “HELLO!?!”, we are not rich!  The fact of the matter is we belong to the lower middle class group. That is why we never bother to activate our home security alarm when we were in the condo before because we though getting a home monitoring security system is just a waste of money. Well, I guess not.  You all need to secure your own home nowadays no matter what your status in life is. We learned a lesson so now we don’t mind paying $35/month for this home security system.

     Living Room
P1010045I did a little "makeover" to our living room in the last few weeks. I blend some colors to the sliding door curtains to go well with the color of the throw pillows. It's spring baby!  So I choose the combination of light green and light yellow sheers to add a little color to the old cream sheers that we had before.  I am not a good interior decorator myself but I think I can pretty much blend the colors that will at least soothe our eyes ;-).

  Master's Bedroom
P1010067I also made the window curtains in our master's bedroom myself… DH is proud of me! Nothing really fancy but it looks good doesn’t it?   The sewing machine that my mother-in-law gave me as a Christmas present three years ago comes very handy when I needed to sew something or do some alterations to the ready made stuff I bought from the store.

  Vegetable Garden

P1010054DH and I planted a cherry tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and kangkong a little over a month ago in our backyard. Now they are showing some flower buds and fruit already. Good sign ;-)  Back then I can't seem to grow anything.  Every plant I put my hands on to went dead after couple of days. DH says, either I must have watered them too much or not enough. hehehe

    Flower Garden
P1010143The flower garden in the front of our home continue to bloom and spread its legs to fill in the gap in between. So now take a look at them, they look gorgeous with the white edging we put around them. We feel sad though seeing our lawn slowly dying (?—Oh NO, please not!).  Why is it that the lawn turned into some kind of a yellowish grass? DH put some lawn fertilizers to it and some bug killer last week so I hope it will go back to its greener shade sooner.

Dreary commute!

Given the fact that I have at least two hours of dreary commute everyday to work and back home, my most admired former boss in Notre Dame, Bro. Jim Adams, FMS suggested I get a copy of those audio-books to make the commute a little more enriching. I thought that’s a brilliant idea so I'd better get crackin' then.

I drove down to the nearest local bookstore in the locality with an intention of buying few audio-books on CD to begin with. Holy Molly!! I didn’t realize these audio books on CD’s aren’t cheap at all. Some almost cost as much as the new DVD movie releases, $20 to $35 per book! Well, told myself, if I have to make this commute a little easier to endure than it had been, then I have no choice but to spend this much money for each audio CD’s don't I? Not knowing if this is going to help me out or not, I decided to pick-up just one title for the time being. “The Long Road Home” by Danielle Steel caught my attention so I grabbed it and hurriedly went to pay for it.

I popped the CD into my car stereo and listened to it. The story was filled with intense drama. Her world is a confusing blend of terror, betrayal, and pain in which made me teary eyed and sniff from time to time. Then as the story progressed, the plot gets into the sizzling, passionate love making! HesusMaryaHosep!!!! Driving is supposed to be a full-time job, right? How am I going to fully concentrate driving if I continue listening to this type of book? There were times I recurrently found myself not wanting to get down the car even after reaching the parking lot and despite getting late to work. Oh my! Well, at least the used to be idea of a dreary commute suddenly becomes a whole new world of most awaited “journey” for me ;-) Obviously, I got hooked so I went to buy more audio-books on CD’s:

P1010044   The Long Road Home by Danielle Steel
  The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
  Impossible - Danielle Steel
  Love Overboard”- Janet Evanovich.
The Rocky Road to Romance - Janet Evanovich
  Metro Girl - Janet Evanovich
Never Be Lied To Again - David J. Lieberman

The second CD I listened to was, “The Notebook”. This is an old-fashioned, deeply emotional story of true love and the frailty of old age caused by Alzheimer's disease. What a very touching and heartbreaking love story! After I’d done listening to the story, I can hardly wait to get home to watch the movie version with my Darling Husband on our brand new
51" High Definition Sony TV  <KDP-51WS655> with matching Integrated Home Theater System in a Box  <Sony DAVBC250> which I got on Mother’s Day. Oh boy! That movie led us into something something afterwards. Aaaahh I am still crazy in love with DH!!!!

Life is so damn good!

You know for the past three weeks, I have been getting home late around 7:30pm or so because I forced myself to join this aerobics exercise in the City Hall after office hours to keep me in better shape. I got to lose this extra flab in my tummy and hips so I can fit back in to my size 4 blue jeans in preparation for our newly planned exhilarating adventure that we both are going to be exploring once we get this 'longed-for' toy, the King of the Road!.... hopefully it won't be any longer from now ;-).  Anyways, going back to the topic, usually when I get home, DH has already something going on in the kitchen. So I just sat on the couch and start flipping on the ‘On Demand’ movie channels looking for something decent to watch. DH served me dinner and there I was glued on TV until our bedtime at 9 o’clock. I love my life to bits :-)  Having no kids sometimes have a great advantage because we can do whatever we want to do without having to worry about who's going to take care of the kids?

Anyhow, who said life is always bed of roses? Of course our marriage life is not an exception. We do have our ups and downs too, our moments so to speak.

Last Saturday I called out work (at CompUSA) because I “feel like a woman” if you know what I mean. DH told me that I should be resting and not doing anything inside the house. Heaven knows I can’t do that. I have to tidy every spot of our home first before I get to relax and even then, after snuggling with him in the couch watching one or two movies for couple of hours, I have to get up and think of something else to do afterwards. That’s just me I guess. I am a neat freak! Besides, I can’t just stay put in one corner of the house for the whole day. However, the thing about it is, I can’t seem to function without having to ask DH to do this and do that for me. One thing that really makes the matter worst is, I am an instant gratification type of creature you know… which means if I ask him to do something, I want that done ASAP which consequently destruct him from reading or watching TV and eventually upset him in one way or another. Oh well, we have had few bouts of ‘whatever’ over the weekend but it didn’t last very long. I basically know what to do anyways to settle down the conflict. All I have to do is stop whatever I am doing, leave him alone in the living room and cave myself in my toys room. Those definitely soothe him down ;-) and after a few hours, we are back to normal programming again. hehehe

DH and I always get along pretty well, more so when we are on vacation because then he won’t see me doing any household chores in the hotel. However, if we are both homebound especially on a three day-weekend, we seemed to get on each other’s nerves from time to time. It’s not the typical yelling and screaming on each other’s face though. Heaven forbids! DH has never ever raised his voice on me yet and neither do I. We both are fully aware of the consequence of our action if ever this shit (yelling or screaming) happens.  <Maghalo ang balat sa tinalupan, eh?!?>

Anyhow, knowing DH, I know he likes a quiet and one relaxing day in a week where he can just laze around doing nothing but watch TV, read the book or listening to music and just not be bothered to do anything else. That’s how he rejuvenates himself and gets his inner peace of mind. He doesn’t like the ‘honey do lists’ that much when it's time for him to relax nor he wants to see me doing any household chores when he is around the house because I am loud and noisy. Then he says he feels guilty for not helping me and he gets worn out by just watching me doing stuff around the house. <huh?>

On the lighter note, the superb mother-in-law called me Friday night to tell me she had prepared something for me to take to work for lunch the next day.  However I didn’t go to work on that day so  I didn’t show up to her house. Well, she phoned me again that morning and I told her I decided to stay home instead. We talked about it for a minute and I decided to tell her about our disagreement but then she even reprimanded me for not giving myself a break! Jeez!!! Like mother like son! Later on in the afternoon she called us back again inviting us out for dinner. She took us to Ruby Tuesday that night but then she still fed us with ice cream when we got back to her house. How can we stay on our diet this way, Mother?!?!?! Thank you anyway for everything you do for me especially for making me fat! hahahaha. By the way, the salad you made for me is scrumptious! ;-)

Sunday affair

DH and I went to Church at 11 o’clock of Sunday and then went grocery shopping afterwards. While at Publix Supermarket, I can’t resist to crave for this delicious carrot cake and rocky road ice cream! I had to charm DH to read my mind which he did. Although he did say NO for a moment but conceded without that much sweet-talks in a minute…hahaha He can’t resist himself either despite of trying very hard to stay on to the "no sweets, low cards diet" in exchange of getting his long dreamed Harley. DH also picked up some baby back ribs to cook out for Memorial Day celebration. I though I have to do something special for him then to make up for my being pain in the butt and for every nice thing he does just for me. So I offered to get him a pack of beer. He grinned at me and asked "Are you sure Sweetheart?"  You know he likes his beer too much but he had to give it up for love because I told him I never ever want to marry a man like my very own father who gets drunk and go nuts with alcohol in his body! You don't wanna know how long have I hated and disgusted my own father for being an irresponsible and horrible drunkard. If I could bash his head to knock him down in an instant so he would shut his big bad mouth off I would.. I really would seriously! God forgives me for that bad thought.  Anyway, so DH completely quit drinking beer the day before I arrived here in the States. My poor martyred husband! That is why he had a ball when I went back alone for a visit to the Philippines last year because that was the only time he ever again enjoyed savoring the taste of a good beer.

Memorial Day

DH made a baby back ribs barbeque and it was delectable!  Jeezwhiz, I am stuffed with too much goodies: rice, baby back ribs bbq, carrot cake and ice-cream.  This morning when I got up, I stepped on the scale and I couldn't believe I am back to 118 lbs again.  Man, it was just 4 days ago when I weight myself and it was down to 114.5 lbs.

P1010044Now, I got to get back on a strict diet and exercise regimen again. I dug out this exercise machine from the our garage and put it back to the guest bedroom so I can use it for crunches and push ups every morning. Plus  I am doing an hour of aerobics exercise twice a week, 30 minutes of Pilates thrice a week and 5 minutes crunches and push ups every morning.
My target weight is 105 lbs.  Way to go Rhebs!

Diet food: Turkey/12 grains bread sandwich for lunch.  Grilled fish or chicken breast and some veges for dinner. NO more rice Marie please ;-)
